File Version Control

    Hi, Are there any plans to provide version control for the files which are uploaded through the media library? It would be great if plugin could store different versions of the file presenting them in one screen with the option to recover any of the available versions. Some UAI would be useful to allow for the plugin to allow file replacement or rather change of the version with new file. Could that be added into development pipeline if not already in place?

    Hi @adamkolenda,

    Media File Renamer is about renaming files, not swapping or re-uploading them, so there is no need of a version control for this! That said, Media File Renamer saves the original filename just in case, and can reverse back to it if any issue.
