Title: File Upload field error Last modified: May 9, 2021 --- # File Upload field error * Resolved [webprofsolutions](https://wordpress.org/support/users/webprofsolutions/) * (@webprofsolutions) * [5 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/file-upload-filed-error/) * I’m using the latest version of WordPress and having a problem with my multipage( paginated) form that is being built using the latest version of Forminator. I have a file upload field in the form set to upload multiple files (max file size per file=2mb, max file uploads=5). * However, when testing the form I noticed that the form wasn’t able to send. So after filling out the form but before submitting, I went back to the page with the file upload field and noticed that it had added multiples of the files I initially selected for upload and that was the cause of the failure. * Steps to reproduce error are as follows: 1. Build a paginated form even if with just two pages. Page 1 should contain file upload field setup to accept upload of multiple files while page 2 could just be empty. The second page is just to ensure that you can go backward and forward on the form. 2. Select one or more files in the upload field and click next to move to the next page. 3. Click previous to go back to the page with the file upload field and you should find the file upload field has multiplied the files or added other files. * This error only occurs when the form is a multipage form and the file upload field is set to accept multiple uploads. In single page forms the field works as expected.
