# File Upload Error

 * Am trying to upload files at [http://transcendadmissions.com/free-consultation](http://transcendadmissions.com/free-consultation)
 * and when I go to do so am given an error saying that the file couldn’t upload
   properly. All files tested have only been word files. Can you please advise?

 * Try manually adding an uploads directory to the plugin directory. It worked for
   me.
    Example: ../wp-content/plugins/custom-contact-forms/uploads

 * The manual creation of an upload folder worked, but I’m still having issues. 
   I see the folders are created, but the files won’t upload, I get the following
   errors:
 * **An error occured while uploading: bb_fileupload**
