 * I am curious to try your plugin – looks terrific and clean – just what the doctor
   ordered (as I am a Noob) – so I expect to install it on one of my test sites
   and see what it does and how it works for me in practice.
    One question (which
   may be more involved depending on your answer) is how protected are the files
   and or site using this system ?- I read in some of the Download managers how
   they obfuscate or hide the origin of the file and (some have option of passwords
   etc) – I don’t have any experience with this kind of security issue, and if I
   was to use this much simpler plugin (which is my intention) I could limit downloads
   for some files by placing them on another page which requires a password etc.
   I have looked at many plugins – and some are not that convenient to use if I
   wanted to have a few pages with many downloadable PDFs and JPGs etc Thank for
   reading Cheers Peter Stein Kuranda QLD

 * Hi Peter,
 * The files are not protected with this plugin. If a user can access your site,
   they can download the file. However, the site itself is still protected by WordPress
   itself. The files can’t be modified or exchanged by anybody except for those
   with access to the backend.. If a malicious user tries to access the backend
   of your site, they will be redirected to the login screen and from there, without
   the right username and password they cant do much except groan in frustration.
 * WordPress itself has a password protect feature if you wanted to restrict access
   to some of your files. You would have to put them on a separate page and protect
   that page, this option can be found under “Visibility” in the top right hand
   corner of the editor both in classic and Gutenberg.
 * Thanks for checking out the plugin and if you have any more questions, just sing
   out!
 * Cheers
 * Nik
