I bought a wonderful theme from themeforest. It’s all loaded up, but the author set it up so you have to go through an 8 step install before getting to the theme options. I’ve made it to step 7 where it’s now saying,

“Change the file permissions below back to chmod 0755
The following folders must be made non-writtable now that the theme is set up, so please change their permissions to 755. Once done, click on the ‘Check permissions again’ link bellow.

    ..wp-content/ – Ok, not writable! (chmod: 0755)
..wp-content/themes/folioShop/ – Not ok, still writable! (chmod: 0705)”

I’ve tried changing permissions on that file with Godaddy, but as you can see, I get chmod:705 or chmod:505 or chmod:101, etc. I’ve contacted godaddy support and they say they can’t help me so I’m turning to you (before ultimately asking the author to intervene).

    Any tips?
