    Hello,

    we are paid users since one month ago and i noticed today the translated pages are no longer found or accessible. The webpage we get is an error page (without a specific http error code) that says that “there was an error in the connection to datatjej.se Check if there are any typos or a mistake in the file name. Check if the file was moved, changed name or if it has been removed.”

    Now I have disabled the plugin in order not to disappoint our visitors. Sadly I do not know for how long the translated pages might have behaved in this manner. We have not changed any settings as to my knowledge.

    What could be the cause of this? Thank you in advance

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    GTranslates setup wizard fails on point 4.
    My concern is that this might have started after the last GTranslate plugin update

    Hi,

    It seems that you have something which is blocking execution of gtranslate.php file on your server. It can be a firewall or a plugin which limits gtranslate.php.

    I would recommend using sub-domain URL structure instead which doesn’t depend on your internals or you can contact our live chat and provide us FTP access, so we can check and fix the issue for you: https://gtranslate.io/#contact

    Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Hi Edo, thank you for the fast reply.
    I went now with the sub-domain, adding c-name to the server, but I get a safety risk alert from my browser now when accessing the en.datatjej.se webpage.
    Apparently they donΒ΄t trust the certificate: *.gtranslate.net, *.tdn.gtranslate.net

    What would the way around this be?
    Really appreciate your help!

    Hi,

    Just give it some time to install a new SSL certificate for you.

    Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Thank you!
    One last question – if you follow the link you will see a little icon next to “About Datatjej” in the upper menu – any idea how to get rid of those? They appear on several other places

    You will need to add the following into the top of your .htaccess file:

    <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|svg|woff|woff2)$">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </FilesMatch>

    Also, since you already use sub-domain URL structure, make sure to remove other GTranslate config rules from .htaccess file.

    Thanks! πŸ™‚
