 * What are the file names created when a post is made?
 * Is it the youtube default names for the .jpg’s or the post name?
 * And where can I find the settings for the plugin?

 * It’s largely just the random video ID for the file name and whatever the file
   type is.
 * For example:
 * [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcknRp0jVtY](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcknRp0jVtY)
 * turned into:
 * /2023/07/YcknRp0jVtY.jpg
 * In terms of settings, there’s not really any in terms of UI, but I know there’s
   some filters available if needed. It’s kind of meant to be a self maintaining
   plugin that tries to get the highest resolution/quality image that a given video
   provides.
 * There is some ajax/bulk/wp-cli options to help with mass processing, but those
   don’t really have settings either.

 * Thanks for the help.
 * I noticed that when I posted a youtube link, that if there is even one image (
   for instance, this is how I post, with a channel link above the youtube link:
   [https://cinewars.news/children-of-the-corn-official-trailer/](https://cinewars.news/children-of-the-corn-official-trailer/))
   the featured image isn’t called. Is there a way around this or should I move
   the channel link image below the youtube link?

 * The plugin only works with individual video URLs, so if you’re posting a youtube
   URL to a channel in general, it’s probably not going to find anything.
 * Regarding display of featured images in the theme/frontend, we don’t handle anything
   with that. Our plugin is meant just to fetch the generated preview images, upload
   to your media library, and then assign that new upload to the featured image
   for the post it was pasted into. Template implementation is still on the user
   and the active theme.

 * Thanks again,
 * I’ve streamlined my posts templates to have the YT url first and then a channel
   link underneath.
 * This solved the problem and Featured Images are brought in from YT
 * Great plugin, very effective.
 * 🙂
