I am developing a WordPress network.
I have a requirement to allow admin of the individual site to manage their own sites files (and not anyone elses). I want them to be able to upload and organize all of their files like images, videos, docs, pdf, and whatever else.

This needs to be accomplished via the Admin dashboard at least.
They need to be able to manage their own files irrespective of any page or post. And then be able to create a relative link to the files in pages or posts.

Any ideas for plugins??? Or another way to accomplish this?

Multisite does this out of the box. Each site’s uploads are stored in a separate directory (under /wp-content/blogs.dir), and managed through the Media Library menu. When each file is uploaded, either through the post editor’s Add media option or via Media > Add New, it acquires its own unique URL.

    Thanks.
    I figured that.

But I was hoping for something that allowed you to actually manage the files. Create your own directories say 1 for images, 1 for videos, 1 for documents etc.

Not even normal single site WP has that.
