    I have the Dokan Pro plugin installed on the website and when I try to enter the Subsriptions area in the backend, it freezes and doesn’t load. I speak with my hosting to validate that we do not have blocks at the server level but there are none. They report to me that this error is being seen

    open_basedir restriction in effect.

    The restriction is unrelated to WP, it’s part of your PHP installation’s configuration. It needs to be modified in order to access the desired files. How to do so varies by host. In some cases, your hosting account has PHP settings that can be altered. In other cases, the php.ini file needs to be altered directly. Yet in other cases your host will need to help you modify PHP settings, you cannot access them yourself.

    The open_basedir directive could be set to “none”, but that has significant security implications. It may be preferable to add the desired paths to what is currently allowed.

    In addition:
    The message can also appear if a plugin references a file incorrectly. An incorrect path resulting from this does not exist and would also be intercepted by openbase_dir.

    I would therefore recommend checking whether this is related to a plugin you are using. You can deactivate it as a test to find out which one is at fault. If you are using any customizations (child theme or custom plugins), I would recommend checking these as well.

    You mention Dokan. Do you mean the free version or the commerical plugin? Note that here in the forum we can only help with non-commercial plugins from the WordPress repository.
