# File help

 * Hi
    Sorry for this newbie post but I’m struggling with getting the plugin to 
   work! The dicom data I have saved from Carestream PACS has a number of different
   files in different folders. None of them have file extensions. WP doesn’t allow
   me to upload any of them as is. I have tried changing some of the file extensions
   to .dcm but can’t make that work either. Any advice would be gratefully received!

 * Thanks for replying. Managed to get my head round all the files in the dicom 
   folder and got some images uploaded.
    I finally got the plugin working by using
   the elementor editor. When I use the WP editor it lets me add the dcm files to
   a gallery but then doesn’t display anything when I publish the page.

 * Ok, I checked it and there seem to be a problem, surely related to wordpress

 * Update (also posted in the link posted above): what does not work is the creation
   of dicom views via the new ‘image’ or ‘gallery’ blocks. You can do it the legacy
   way, using a ‘classic’ block and then choosing the ‘add media’ button.
