Support » Fixing WordPress » file delivery page on my wordpress site

  • Morning!

I am a photographer, and I run my photographers website with wordpress.

Typically, when I want to send clients images, I create a zipped file and send it to them with yousendit.com.

I would like to be able to direct them directly to a page on my website where they can download said zipped file instead. It would be great if this page could be password protected so said clients would feel I am watching out for their privacy.

Can I do that on wordpress? How? I’m not a developer, so the more specific the better.

    Thanks!

    Ellen

  • Any Post can be Password protected – it is an option in the upper right side in the same box as “Publish” – Look under “Visibility”

Depending on your site someone that knows the structure can look into the directories. There are some things that I am not familiar with that can be done to keep visitors from peeking.
