  • Please post a screendump of the “File Change Detection” settings.
(If needed use Ctrl- to zoom out so that all settings fit in one screen)

There are 3 types of file changes detected:

    1. Files added.
    2. Files removed.
    3. Files changed.

Is the iTSec plugin “File Change Detection” feature sending notifications about detection of all three types for excluded files\folders ?

    If not which ones ?

Also let us know the iTSec plugin version being used (4.6.10)

    Hi!

Sorry, for delay! I wasn’t notified of your answer.

It actually stopped happening..no notifications anymore. So, it’s solved for me but perhaps it is of use for you to improve plugin.

    Notifications were about changed files.

I may be wrong but perhaps it’s fixed because of something on server which was fixed.
It was to do with server settings that don’t allow long processes by killing them after few seconds. That made problems for Wordfense and was solved as suggested here:
    https://support.wordfence.com/support/solutions/articles/1000129050-running-wordfence-under-litespeed-web-server-and-preventing-process-killing-or-aborting

Not sure but perhaps after that notifications stopped…

    Here is screenshot of settings:

    Thanks!
