File Backup Schedule

    I have a fairly large site. Rather than do a full backup on a regular schedule, I’d like to do a full backup say once a month, then a database and partial file backup daily or weekly. Question: Will doing a backup on just wp-content and the database cover any new content I add through the dashboard?

    Unless you have custom file paths on your installation, all the elements added to your site will go into wp-content. So the answer is yes.

    I’d think about increasing that monthly backup though. Imagine having to re-upload a month’s worth of images and other media!
