I have the same issue. I do everything right, step by step according to instruction. The temporarely folder on ftp exists and it has writeable status. Still no attachment goes through…. i tried with several email accounts – the same result. Everythin’g work just fine, except the attachement is not delivered…

I also followed the instructions and am having the same issue. Email comes through but there is no attachment.
I do not know how this issue marked as resolved?!, I did everything correct and I checked the permission of the temp upload path, but the email arrive normally but with NO any attachment with it !!
Here is the code in my form for reference..

You are probably missing the tag name of your field in the MAIL tab > FILE ATTACHMENTS
From your field:
<label> You can attach up to 2MB jpg, doc, xls, pdf or zip file
[file AttachFile limit:2mb filetypes:jpg|zip|rar|doc|pdf|xls|docx|xlsx] </label>
The tag name is “AttachFile”. You have to add it:
Go to your WP Dashboard > Contact > Contact Forms
Click to Edit the form (which has the file attached option)
Go to Mail tab. At the bottom is File Attachments text area, add this: [AttachFile] and hit save. Then, test it.

I have even created a new directory at root with 777 permissions and still I am not getting the attachements through…

You have to add the attachement tag into the FILE ATTACHEMENTS field.
Hi Takayuky, I wanted to ask you how can you indicate how many files are loading when they are more than one? I’m using the Multifile Upload Field for Contact Form 7 plugin, but you do not understand the files that are attached. I was thinking if you can put an indicator. i installed contact form7 plugin and created form every thing working fine that is i got mail and all but iam not getting attach file so please help me out in this…….
There is a conflict with the plugin “Email Templates” which does not allow attachments to be sent by the contact form.
This works:
File Attachments:
1. Put this in your “Form”. You can change the size.
<p>Send File<br /<input type=”file”>
[file your-file limit:1mb filetypes:doc|docx|jpg|jpeg|pdf]
2. Put this in you “Mail” Tab, in the field that says “File Attachments”
[your-file]
