When I remove the file upload field, the form and email works fine

This is the code I am entering in the form
    <p> Image(required)
    [file file-631 filetypes:jpg|png]</p>

    in the email attachments entering
    [file-631]

    have setup the upload directory
    wpcf7_uploads
    permissions 777

Try checking the PHP error log and mail server log. There may be a clue.

    1-I updated my mx records
2-I had not not properly filled out “from” on form settings(important)
3-I was using gibberish to test form – resulting in from “gibberish”

So combination of all these factors – when I attached a file (image) and was sending to a gmail account
it was labeled spam and thrown into the gmail spam folder

What there is a gmail spam folder???

    Anyhow resolved – me bad
    Plugin Great
