I’m going to push out an update (version 2.0.1) which will include a way to view your old saved Custom Content. You will be able to copy and paste it into a new WCE Message.
This update should be coming out today.

looking forward to the update, for now i’ve rolled back to the previous setup. Would it still require some tweaking for woocommerce Bookings or did you add this as option?

As of right now it will still require some tweaking to work with your Bookings plugin.
I think I may add a Settings page where you can specify which classes to make the “Custom Emails” tab show up…

Great news — with the new version 2.1.0 coming out soon, you won’t need to tweak any files!
I’ve added a new Settings page for the plugin, and one of the options is “Extra Display Classes” where you can add these classes yourself, to ensure the ‘Custom Emails’ tab displays for whatever type of product you need.

I’ve updated to see the new WCE settings (Show Version 1x Content + Extra Display Classes) and it looks nice.
Now to show the extra message only for my bookings i can add ‘show_if_booking’ under ‘Extra Display Classes’ right?

That’s correct! You can add “show_if_booking” under ‘Extra Display Classes’ and it should show up for those product types.
