# Field Not Displaying Selection

 * Whenever a selection is made form the drop down menu (select) the submission 
   email doesn’t show the actual selection. Instead it says [control_1523895162807]
   regardless of the selection. How do I make the email show what was selected from
   the drop down menu?

 * This means that the control value was not replaced with the filled one.
 * We recommend to change your email template and add your controls again for which
   you would like to display the data.
 * This should fix this issue.
