This plug-in looks like a really good potential solution for me. I’d like visitors to the site to supply data by completing a form built with Contact Form 7; that data should then make it to a Zoho Recruit database using the Zoho Recruit REST API, which accepts XML data. That seems to be exactly what this plug-in does.
- Must the field names used by CF7 (in the form) match the ones that Zoho is expecting or is the plug-in capable of mapping one field name to another? For example, could I submit the data collected as, say , ‘Email address’ to Zoho as ‘Email ID’?
- The Zoho API is expecting the fields to take the form
<FL val="First name"> Nikolay </FL>. Can I just modify config.php to format the data in that way? (E.g., <FL val=”First name”> firstname </FL> to get the plugin to send the contents of the CF7 field ‘firstname’ to Zoho?
- Is there any easy way for the plugin to handle attachments submitted by the visitor via the same CF7 form?
Also, please let me know if you ever do any custom WordPress/PHP development. This is somewhat outside my abilities so I would probably benefit from hiring someone to solve the problem. Thanks!
