Field losing input

Hello

I have a text field to store a Google Font: <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=David+Libre:wght@500&display=swap" rel="stylesheet">

My client has noted that frequently, but not always, this field is emptied when saving another field on the Options screen. This has happened multiple times. It has never happened to any other fields.

What could be causing it, and how might we resolve?

This plugin would not have any effect on the saving of fields. It only supplies an interface for creating the options pages. All fields are still managed by ACf.

Oh, I raised a support ticket with ACF, and they told me I should speak with you!

Could there be something in the string, perhaps the quotes, that either WP or ACF is stripping out?

WP could be stripping out the html depending on what type of user is saving and what type of field it is.

Is the user that is having the problem an admin? editor? something else?
Are you using mulitsite?

Yes, multisite. User is Editor. Field is simple text field.

I used ACF and Options page on dozens of websites. These sites are used constantly, daily. This is the only instance (across multiple websites) where a text field is being emptied.

This issue had to do with multisite and only super admins being allowed unfiltered HTML.
