I’ve been looking for a solution for over two years and am still amazed why this isn’t a standard element in Woocommerce: a field for brands. Brands are so important in commerce. I now use a trick to display the brand above the title: Brandname<span>Product title</span> but am still wondering if there isn’t a better solution. Any ideas?

    Hi, @tastymouse!

While a separate field for brands isn’t part of the core WooCommerce functionality, you can use a plugin for that.

For instance, I can recommend WooCommerce Brands, which is backed by a 30-day refund policy at WooCommerce.com.

For free options, you may also want to consider the following:

Hi, I just found out that Woocommerce does have an attribute Brand :). I had to check ‘Used for variations’ to get it in the product page.
I’ll have to find out how to get it above the title.
    Thanks for the plugin tips.

    Hello,

You can add a specific attribute to above the title with some custom coding. If you are up for it, this tutorial and visual hook guide can help you get started.

Or, if you prefer without a custom coding solution, you may want to consider one of the plugins that @dcka recommended.

The attribute appeared not useful so I think I’ll use a combination of a plugin and custom coding.
    Thanks, Tom
