[field excerpt] messing up divi

i have used custom content shortcode with the Divi theme for three websites and it worked more than just perfect but this time everytime i add [field excerpt] the whole website gets messed up and the divi codes start to appear.all other shortcodes work perfectly its just when i use [field excerpt] anyone can help ?(by the way when i used [field excerpt] directly in php “do_shortcode” it works fine its just when i use it in div’s text or code block)
