Using FF 52.0, Easy FancyBox displays only an empty box when trying to display a pdf file. This happends when in FF application panel the setting for “Portable Document Format (PDF)” is set to “Allways ask”. If set to “Preview in Firefox” it still works.
Is this behaviour new, or was that allwas a problem for Easy FancyBox?

  • Hi Montelupo, it seems FireFox has changed a lot since the whole browser rendering machine was changed.

What do you have set on Settings > Media under the PDF section for “Embed with”?

I was using “Object-Tag (with fallback-link)”. But I thaught that I tried “I frame tag (let the browser decide)” too.
Now that you mention this setting I re-tried “I frame tag (let the browser decide)” and oh miracle: it works!

    Thank you very much.

Thanks for reporting your findings. The iframe embed method will be the default in the next version!
