fetching from facebook certain Photos with Photo-Fetcher

hello dear developer, hello dear user of Photo-Fetcher,

at the moment i run a site – which is under developement: and i am interested in Photo-Fetcher.

i run a site thats main interest is focused on

a. literature
b. theatre

see the page http://www.ex-libri.org – note at the moment it is BETA-BETA, of course.

At the moment i look for adding some special features:

what is aimed: Many many theatres and stages provide images on facebook

that said – i find it easy to get images from facebook to my wordpress site – it would be great to do this on a automatic-way.

here i have seen some options:
see the ppl from feed them social at wwww.slickremix.com

They took my feed from facebook ( at https://www.facebook.com/literaturen ) and streamed the results into their testpage at http://feedthemsocial.com/test/
see the blue image –

well what is very very interesting is to feed (or let me say stream) the facebook-data to the site.

question: can we feed the data – and pick up ony one or two images?

is this possible with your plugin the Facebook-Photo-Fetcher?

i would love to do this with your plugin – the great Photo-Fechter

If your question is whether or not it can be used to pull just one or two images from a given album, then yup, it can. If you’re asking if it can follow a FB feed & generate new status posts accordingly, the answer is no. I’m not 100% clear what you’re trying to ask – but again, everything this plugin does is described pretty thoroughly in the docs 😉

many many thanks for the quick answer. great to hear from you.

the wanted feature is to fetch single photos not albums themselves.

so i guess that the plugin is made for me. 😉

that said i think that i need more knowledge; i
Search for Albums

To get a list of album IDs that you can use to create galleries, enter a Facebook Page or User ID below and click “Search.”
Your User ID is 1827275749. To get a friend or page’s ID, click on one of their photos – the URL will be something like facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=012&set=a.345.678.900. The last set of numbers (900 in this example) is their ID

so far so good – but if i click some images then i see other numbers – they do not fit the structure that you mention….

1) …Because 1234567890123456789 is an example. Not a real album ID.
2) See FAQ #11.
3) See FAQ #101.
