Sure. Physical folders ALWAYS trump virtual.

Can you please clear the second Query?

Can i fetch the contents from http://www.xyz.com/ph1/multisite2 and display them in http://www.xyz.com or in http://www.xyz.com/multisite1?

Not easily if they’re separate multisites. You’d have to use RSS.

    Thanks Ipstenu

You have given some nice tips, finally can you please tell me about this ?

“Are there any problems that might arise in future due to multi site? and are there are any precautionary measures to be taken, when i install them first”

I am worried and would like to be cautions as i see many of them asking about invalid Images not being loaded and permalink problems.

That’s a nebulous question. It’s like ‘Will there ever be problems with my car?’

Yes, there will surely be problems. But so long as you never hack core, and know how to disable plugins without being able to log into WP, AND have a little server savvy, you’re generally fine.
