We like the clean & simple design of FEPM but . . .
We’ve been using All-in-One Event Calendar for a 2 yrs now. After loading FEPM anytime I go to add or edit a calendar event the page title & permalink is replaced with ‘Private Messaging’. Cache off & cleared, FEPM plugin disabled, etc – still changes edited or new calendar events title & premalink to ‘Private Messaging’. All this only occurs in the backend, the front end works fine. It’s a maint hassle…
I hope this is something simple as we’d like to continue use FEPM but it is making things difficult.
Thanks for the plugin, development & your time.

Disabling this plugin cannot modify anything. Also can you give me a screenshot of the title it modified?

For testing can you activate this plugin first then create a page and add [front-end-pm] shortcode in it. Then set this page as Front End PM Page in Front End PM > Settings > General. Then activate All-in-on event calendar plugin.

    Let me know.

Did what you listed above – still happening. Turned off all caching & I have uninstalled FEPM. I de-activated the Calendar plugin, then re-activated the Calendar plugin – no help, the issue still presents – when I go to enter or edit a calendar event, the title & slug automatically wipe and change to ‘Private Messaging’.
The Calendar Plugin it effects is All-In-One Events Calendar by Time.ly
Thought it might just be the computer I was using so I logged in with another & the problem presented itself again.
Caches cleared, Cache turned off, WP optimize = no acceptable results – still changes titles & slugs.

At this point I simply want all references to FEPM removed from WP. Apparently it left fragments around and did not properly delete itself.

Can’t post a screen shot here but it’s exactly what I describe above.
How would I get a Screen Shot to you ?

    Can I post a screen shot here ? . . . no…. give me an email . . .

    It’s pretty straight forward.
If I open an existing Calendar event or start a new one, The title & permalink both appear correct then in 2 seconds the title & permalink both change to “Private-Messaging”.
No shortcodes, FEPM has been deleted & this continues to happen – very frustrating.
The calendar plug-in is All-in-one event calendar.

This plugin does not have any capability to do anything after it is deactivated.
Can you please contact calendar plugin support if they have any solution?

Embarrassed to report I finally found the difficulty.

It had nothing to do with your work

. I use a password manager that somehow created a pre-fill form section for my WP login…

So, short story – all my fault.
I do appreciate your time & replies.
I’m going to reload the Plugin.

    Thank you !
Reported in case anyone else repeats this issue.
