    Hallo,
seit ca. 2 Wochen, wenn ich eine von meinen Seiten/Beiträgen mit über ca. 1000 Worten bearbeiten/speichern will, bekomme ich den 411 Fehler
    “Length Required
A request of the requested method POST requires a valid Content-length.”

For about 2 weeks, when I want to edit / save one of my pages / posts with over 1000 words, I get the 411 error “Length Required A request of the requested method POST requires a valid content-length. ” Independent of the installed theme. I’m at Strato, communicated with Sevice there, but unfortunately didn’t get a solution. I’ve already deactivated my plugins, nothing helped. Error already occurred with WordPress 5.7 and now with 5.8, with PHP 7 and PHP 8 How can I fix this? Is there a plugin for it?

411: “Length Required.” This means that the requested resource requires that the client specify a certain length and that it did not.

    I’ve already deactivated my plugins,

    Thank you for trying that.

Also try switching the theme to the default theme (twenty twenty one.

If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

Also, see if info in this thread points in the right direction:

I have activated “Health Check” and I got answer “State of page: gut”, no any problem.

Wenn I try to modify my page I get the Answer:
“Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen. Die Antwort ist keine gültige JSON-Antwort” (with block editor).
Switching the theme to the default theme (twenty twenty one) don’t make a difference.

I have the same issue. I’m also with Strato. I’m not able to publish any posts or save drafts once they have a certain length.
I’m also not able to add any pictures to my media library anymore (my workaround was to use the “Add from Server” plugin).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Plugin “Add from Server” does not help to save my pages with more then 1000 words

It doesn’t help me either. It just helped with the picture upload problem. These two issues started to occur at the same time so I thought they might be connected.

I’m also still not able to save my pages with more than 1000 words..

The solution in the article below worked for me (disabling the protection shield).

Thank you very much. It is Bitdefender protection shield.
After deactivation I have no any problem more.
