# FeedWordPress (HTTP request failure) ?

 * Hi, I’m using WordPress 2.8 and I had installed FeedWordPress a few days ago 
   and till this day I can’t figure out how to get it working. I keep getting errors
   as stated below:
 * > Feed Finder: test2
   >  Error: FeedWordPress couldn’t find any feeds at [http://feeds.nytimes.com/nyt/rss/HomePage](http://feeds.nytimes.com/nyt/rss/HomePage).
   > Try another URL.
   > Diagnostic information
   > HTTP request failure
   > :
   > HTTP Transports available:
   > WP_Http_Fsockopen
 * Any idea what could be wrong?
