 * We’re using FeedWordpress to aggregate posts from several blogs.
    We have chosen“
   create any categories the post is in” in the Sydicated section, but all posts
   are going under “Contributors.” We would like it to create categories… but doesn’t
   works. Somebody can help us?

 * Probably you are confusing with Link Categories and Post Categories. By default
   all post from CONTRIBUTORS (link categories) are aggregated, you can change this
   in option page as well.
 * As for as new categories are concerned, Solution to your problem is in Option/
   Syndication page, where you can select **Unfamiliar categories: create any categories
   the post is in**
