Feedburner – identify feed source

  • Hi all,

I really need some help with this one.

I’m just trying to setup a feedburner feed and no matter what I do I am getting this error:

The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 44: The value of attribute “href” associated with an element type “null” must not contain the ‘<‘ character.

When I validate the URL I get this error:
    http://mydomain.com/
It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn’t find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.

    when i try http://mydomain.com/?feed=rss2 i get this:
    Sorry
    This feed does not validate.
Server returned HTTP Error 503: Service Unavailable [help]
line 1, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:0: no element found [help]
In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.
Feeds should not be served with the “text/html” media type [help]

..no matter what I do I get an error.

Could someone please help. This is really testing my patience and I have already spent so many hours trying to fix it.

    Many thanks in advance.
