# Feedback för Gutenberg

 * I’ve been using Gutenberg for a while now but still don’t understand what’s good
   about it for the following reasons:
   1. It takes a long time to learn2. It takes
   a long time to learn where things are3. Much is invisible and only becomes apparent
   when you hover over it.4. It’s a lot of “fun” to use the pointer to find hidden
   items.5. It’s terribly annoying to have stuff popping up from invisible to visible
   and back again6. It takes MUCH longer to write a post with Gutenberg7. It’s MUCH
   faster to write posts with the old editorI don’t know ANYONE who uses Gutenberg.
   So, tell me what’s better about Gutenberg?

   Everyone has
   a different workflow, so it’s understandable that Gutenberg doesn’t suit everyone.
 * One of its main goals is to provide a consistent editing experience across WordPress
   using blocks that can be reused, rearranged, and customized without relying on
   shortcodes or custom HTML. It also makes it easier for themes and plugins to 
   integrate with the editor in a standardized way.
 * If there are specific parts of the editor that slow you down or are difficult
   to use, sharing those examples may help the community suggest tips or improvements.

 * With the classic editor, there are no tutorials needed, you learn it in a few
   minutes and can quickly post what you want. The block editor is cumbersome, slow,
   invisible and flickering, which creates time thieves. On top of that, it takes
   a long time to accomplish something which then still looks like it was done in
   the classic editor.
   No, this is not good. The best thing would have been that
   the editor people use the most should be pre-installed while the one used only
   by some people with this need would be an add-on.I don’t understand the block
   editor in Widget at all. Incredibly stupid to replace a winning team with something
   few understand.

 * I understand your point. The goal of the Block Editor wasn’t just to replace 
   the Classic Editor for writing posts. It was introduced to provide a consistent
   way to build and edit all parts of a WordPress site—pages, posts, patterns, templates,
   widgets, and eventually the entire site—using the same editing experience. While
   it may not suit every workflow, that’s the primary purpose behind its introduction.

 * If this continues, I’ll move on to something else, just like everyone I know 
   who uses WordPress is thinking about.
