I like it! It’s perfect for a minimal theme or as a starting point to build a new design from.
I don’t know what happened, but my sidebar is now at the bottom of the page on the right?? Please help.

Satrya, now my custom header appears to be messed up too?
Can you let me know what to do to fix this..

@ldpdc09@gmail.com I’m sorry, I will update thiss soon
Thanks
Just activated the Basically theme as well, looks good and clean.
But the search page is not lining up correctly, see this link in the demo:
http://wp-themes.com/?s=book&x=5&y=6 (I also posted this separately here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-basically-search-page-error)
Well, this theme is really great. Thank you very much Satrya for such an wonderful theme. Howver, I miss one thing in this theme; so I thought it be good to request for it.
Here it goes. The sidebar used in this theme is general, i.e, it displays on each and every page of the blog. But I want a separate sidebar for single page/post. When empty, this sidebar will show the widgets of the general sidebar. Can you do it, please?
Oh! By the way, I marked your theme a 5 star!
@prativasic hello, sorry i just read your comment here 🙂
I think that is great idea, but I’m sorry, I’m busy to prepare my next theme 🙂
For now, you can try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/.
@satrya,
Thanks. Actually, I already figured that out. Just forgot to update here.
However, I have been facing a different kind of problem. My site is in my native language- Bengali. So, I needed to change all the font settings to a Bengali font. I know, there is no good way to do this other than replacing every “font-family” entity in stylesheets. And I actually succeed with this appraoch with the other themes I tested. But for some reason, it doesn’t work with your theme 🙁
For reference, I tried by adding my native font as the first value in every font-family entry in ./style.css. It changes the body fonts and most, but not all. So, then I tried by changing the same in ./style/reset.css too. But the result was same. Any thought?
Yes, because basically has a default font-family from theme options, you can try add !important to every font-family you change in style.css
ex:
font-family: arial, sans-serif !important;
Love the theme.
The site i’m working on is so basic i would like to disable the directory path the shows just below the navigation bar (ie: Home/post/)
I tried looking for some script in index.php to disable it, but had no luck.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Regards, steve.
@stevenmartins do you mean the breadrcumbs ?
Go to Appearance > Editor, then add the code below in style.css
#breadcrumbs {
display: none;
}
