feed xml (rss or atom) truncated – no posts appearing

    My rss2 or atom feed is stopping at the point where the favicon is added, and there is no subsequent content. In the RSS feed the <channel> and <rss> tags are not even closed, the feed just stops after <image>.

    Everything else working OK. I have two actual posts.

    So far I’ve tried:-
    * switching themes back to Twenty Sixteen
    * disabling all plugins (including Jetpack)
    * the “resintall now” button on the Updates panel
    * reinstalling the feed*.php files via FTP
    * The fix my feed plugin

    I’ve put most of those back because rest of site is working OK. I’m using Wonderflux and WFX Girder and Jetpack right now.

    PHP version installed: 5.6.18
    MySQL version installed: 5.5.48

    Any tips on what / where to look next would be appreciated?

    I think I found the problem – you can’t put ampersands in the title of your posts, my most recent post was crashing the feed.

    The title was “TTE & BTS – London”

    I updated it to “TTE and BTS London”

    I’m not sure whether to consider this resolved now or not? I’m guessing this is still a bug maybe, but the work around is not onerous.

    thanks for raising this issue – thanks for posting. Great to read your postings.

    Im pulling an RSS from a page to display on my homepage. It displays the titles correctly, but I want to truncate the number of characters per post so it doenst take up a long section if the title is long. How do I do that?
