Hi, I have a wordpress blog that I host myself. Basically what I want to do is feed either the blog posts header or a piece of the body text into the homepage and if people wish to view it all they can click a link and be sent to the blog. Is there a way to do this? I came across a RSS feed thing but that wouldn’t allow me to add links or limit word count, any ideas?

street_spirit – Why not use WP for your front page, as a static-ish front page (or one with a sticky post or two)?

U804715 – Don’t put that signature in after your posts. Per http://wordpress.org/support/topic/68664?replies=6

Signatures on all posts will be removed. Signatures create clutter and distract from the information and help we are trying to provide.
