Feed won’t validate with WP 4.9

    Since upgrading to version 4.9.x about nine days ago, RSS Aggregator’s feed doesn’t validate. This doesn’t cause a problem with most feed readers, but Thunderbird will not update the feed (the feed will show up when you first add it, but attempts to update the feed add no new feed items). This is causing a problem for many of our subscribers.

    I should explain, that the onsite version update automatically and as it should (view here: http://fossforce.com/foss-force-news-wire/ ), and using the reader Liferea and on Firefox the RSS feed updates properly, but so far Thunderbird appears to be the only problem.

    Hi @brideoflinux,

    WP RSS Aggregator is only responsible for importing the feeds to your site. And from what we understand here, it still did its job fine.

    However, the feed that is produced from your site, is something that is handled by the core WP system and your site in general.

    It would be best if you address this issue to your hosting provider, to make sure that you have all the requirement of WordPress to produce a valid feed.
