Feed widget from Custom Field?

We’re a movie review site and trailers are a sticky issue for us due to studios often yanking the videos down without warning. Thus we do not want videos tied to posts, but instead want the videos to exist only in a gallery that appears in our footer (say 5 at a time).
The issue is, we have many authors and each post supports passing a URL for the trailer for the film in question. That’s stored in custom meta data for the post.
Would there be a way for your plugin to be fed that so that our gallery would then show the latest 5 videos? Then, when we add a new post, the oldest video would fall out of the gallery and it no longer matters when the studio removes it as there’s no other way for readers to access the video on our site once it’s out of the gallery.
