Feed showing up in reverse order

I’m testing out upgrading my blog to 2.6.3. In doing so, I’m also testing the ability to provide readers with different subscription options based on categories. Well, needless to say, I’ve run into an issue. Apparently when using the syntax of /feed/?cat=-6 (notice the negative), the feed shows up in reverse order (earliest to newest). If I remove the negative sign, it seems to work properly, however, I am trying to provide a feed with all entries that are NOT in category 6.

I came across an older post that suggested upgrading MySQL, so I upgraded MySQL to the latest version. Still the same issue.

As of this post, I’m still running test, so you can see the issue in action here.

I’ve been researching this for a few hours now and I’m not getting anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
