 * I just installed WordPress on my server last night using the autoinstallation
script that the service provider has for us. I also added a theme and then did
some minor cosmetic changes to it. I then tried a couple of posts to see if it
is sending out the notification to the update service. The setup shows that it
should be sending to pingomatic, but I am not getting a notification of a new
post on bloglines, where I have an account and have subscribed to my feed. What
should I do to ensure that the feed is actually being sent out?

 * Sometimes things just take a while to update. It’s unlikely that changing the
   theme will have affected bloglines.
 * Plus I checked your feed link, and it works fine 🙂

 * I’m actually wondering if it has something to do with my server not sending it
out properly? Is there a configuration somewhere on my server that I should be
confirming? Bloglines just reported an error to me:
 * Bloglines has encountered an error trying to fetch the latest version of this
feed. Bloglines handles errors automatically, no action is required by you. The
   error was:
 * The feed URL returns a page that does not look like an RSS feed. This can be
caused by the feed URL being incorrect, or it can be caused by a configuration
issue with the server hosting the feed. If this error continues, you should check
the feed URL and, if it is wrong, subscribe to the correct URL.
 * However, when I click in Bloglines, it does bring up the latest post, but it
was not highlighted as new (by being bold in my left panel listing).

 * I unsubscribed from the feed on bloglines this morning, then resubscribed on
bloglines using the “add to bloglines” link in the sidebar of the page, then
posted a new post to the blog… this was about 5 hours ago. Bloglines still has
not reported a new post on that feed. I’m thinking I have something set wrong
in the server settings (perhaps there is a setting that our service provider
has turned off?) and I don’t know what to check. Any suggestions?

 * Since [http://www.scrapbookingswede.com/blog/?feed=rss2](http://www.scrapbookingswede.com/blog/?feed=rss2)
shows up fine (assuming I’m looking at the right blog) I don’t think the problem
is on your end. BlogLines isn’t always zippy…

 * It turns out that it is coming over to Bloglines it is just not highlighting
it in there (i.e. making it bold and indicating how many new posts there are).
Is there a paramater I should be sending that may be missing?
