Feed confused after post import (BlogML & Tumblr)

Hi there,

I’m having some trouble with my WordPress installation. I do have a pretty basic setup: Dedicated (virtual) server, MySQL, WordPress 3.4.1, Twentyeleven Theme, Akismet, Jetpack.

My issue is the following. When I add my feed to a feed reader like Google Reader it does show me all my posts. Once I add a new post to my blog it won’t make it through.

I’m not sure if it’s related but I assume: The WordPress iOS app shows some of my posts as pages and vice versa. Also, it does show some posts multiple times. And just old ones. Like from the time before I imported all these posts.

I moved to that new WordPress blog only a few weeks ago. When I did that, I imported all my posts from my Tumblr account and from an old BlogML file. Reading the answers on different forums that seems to be the step that causes the issues.

So I’d love to get that fixed. Is there some way to verify a WP database? Or a way to look for corrupt entries? Something?
