Currently the feed buttons widget that comes with podPress is not correctly linking to my podcast.
Without itpc protocol turned on, the link displays like so:
With itpc protocol on it looks like this:
I was previously using Feedburner and had issues with Feedburner overwriting post specific iTunes:Subtitle and iTunes:Summary, so I removed my feed from feedburner, and have turned on iTunes:New-Feed-Url to point to my feed at makingstarwars.net/feed/podcast/
Is that where the widget is pulling the url from? Should I disable iTunes:New-Feed-Url?
I’m not positive if I submitted my feed to iTunes using the main feed url from podPress or the url from Feedburner.
My first two podcasts have both pulled the iTunes:Summary from post content and displayed likes like: “The post MakingStarWars.Net’s Now, This Is Podcasting! Episode I appeared first on Now, This Is Podcasting!.The post MakingStarWars.Net’s Now, This Is Podcasting! Episode I appeared first on Now, This Is Podcasting!.” which I noticed was on the Feedburner rss, so I assumed it was them causing the problem, and stopped using it.
I would really like to use this widget and make sure iTunes is reading my feed from podPress, since it displays the way I want it to.
Thank you for your help!
