• Hi,

In ‘Reading Settings’, my blog has been set up to show ‘Full text’ with its feeds. I was wondering, if I were to change this to Summary, what it would look like when a user receives an update.

    Mainly

    1. Would they receive the Excerpt, the Teaser or something else? Or the teaser if I hadn’t created an excerpt?
    2. When the user receives an update, will there be a “Click here to read more” type of link to the entire article? (this is important for me)

  • You know you can change it and then go to your feed address to see what it looks like. If you don’t like it, change it back. Should take about 30 seconds or less.

    I did, but nothing changed.
I have it set up through Feedburner. Could this be the problem?

Or will it only display a summary for new posts?

Through FB you will not see changes immediately and I don’t think you can do full text. I know FF default to the first few lines and that is what FB does for me even in IE which normall shows full text.
