FedEx Extension - Multiple shippers? (4 posts)

I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this question. If not, please redirect me :) We just purchased and installed the fed-ex shipping plugin in. We will be taking orders and having at least 2 different suppliers drop ship the products directly to the customer. In the plug-in settings menu, it asks for the "origin zip" so that it can calculate costs. Is it possible to set up more than one origin, from different vendors? Maybe I need an extension to the extension?

I'd be interested in hearing how others set up shipping in similar circumstances. We won't be sending anything directly, just from vendors. This is our first time out, so any assistance is welcome!

    Love the woocommerce plugin!

I have the exact same request, and been googling a lot. Apparently this feature doesn't exist yet.

Seems like a logical feature. The thing that I am seeing is that then the user will have to choose the shipping source location before any shipping calculations can be made. That functionality would need to be built into the FedEx plugin.

Wish I knew what to tell ya! I am in mad hunt right now to figure out how to do get a single product to ship for free using the UPS plugin.

    Best of luck!

Why don't you set up shipping classes.

Go here to find out: http://www.extensionworks.com/woocommerce-2/why-people-choose-our-woocommerce-ups-usps-fedex-canada-post-and-australia-post-shipping-extensions/

You could also have a shipping class for that one product (free shipping) already available in the standard woocommerce.

All the other products will be shipped by UPS.
