"Featuring" a Post causes the Post to disappear on the Static Main Page

    Hello All,

    I’m using the new WordPress 2014 Theme and I’m having an issue.
    When I “feature” a post on my blog and it goes the Featured Grid on the front page, the post no longer shows up on lower part of the front page which is set to show recent posts. How can I make it so that it shows on Featured content and also on the front page recent posts as well?

    I got it working. The solution was:

    1) Downloaded the Fourteen Extended Version 1.1.9 Plug-In.

    2) This gave me the option on Customize –> Featured Options –> Check Show Featured Posts in Blog Feed.

    Works great now.
