Hello – I like your plugin and appreciate your hard work. However, I’ve noticed that a few key features are missing/don’t work. One important feature that’s missing is “match case” so that only instances with the correct capitalization are marked (e.g. LISA vs. Lisa). Also, the glossary isn’t working for me, but I don’t need it. The problem is that I have to pay for the Pro version to get the “Tooltip only” option to remove the broken links, and $30/yr is a steep price for a simple plugin.

    Welcome narasicoaching,
thank you for using our plugin and for your feedback.

I cannot understand if there is a bug to fix for your free installation or is just a lack of features in the free version?

The feature you are looking for (case sensitive matching) is a pro feature because it causes to us more work/test than usual, we have to parse the content of text twice and in a more specific way than the standard one. Due to the nature of our plugin we have a lot of specific work to do in order to check the compatibility of other plugins and themes with our auto-link engine and it’s a time consuming activity, so we switched to this freemium revenue model in order to continue develop and maintain the code.

To us 29 USD is a fair price in order to activate some Pro features and get access to direct support on your specific website. We also provide some promotional discounts sometimes so if you are using our free plugin maybe you have just to wait for a newsletter with a coupon in it so you can switch to the pro version gaining a reduced price per year.

Thank you for providing us a feedback,
    Eugenio Petullà – Codeat

In addition can you explain better the broken links issues?
If there is a bug we have to work to fix it so any other information is important to us to spot new issues 🙂

I’m sorry, I should have been more clear.

    Broken links:
I can create a glossary entry and hit Publish successfully.
I can hover over the word in a post/page and both the tooltip and the link are there.
But if I try to open the glossary page, or click a glossary word to go to its page, it says it’s “not found.”

I don’t need the glossary, I just want the tooltip, so I’d prefer to just have the “tooltip only” option, but you have made that a Pro option.

Also, I didn’t know that “match case” is a Pro option, too, so that’s even more frustrating. All the other plugins I tried had these options as free.

In order to solve your broken links issue I ask you to try refresh your permalinks. Just go under your wordpress permalink settings and push the save button. Then test your term’s links again.

I’m sorry to hear about your frustration on our pricing policy and I hope you will have the occasion to get some discount for the upgrade.

Let me know if you solve the broken links issue,

Thanks. I tried that before and it didn’t work, but this time it did. The links now work.

I hope that there are occasions for discounts on the Pro version.

    Regards,
    Ken

The next version will have an alert about the refresh of permalink after this issue 🙂
