Support » Plugin: Ultimate Maintenance Mode » Features request

I got this plugin because if I click to update the Plugins on my site, my site goes into Maintenance Mode and displays an ugly default WordPress-generated page, and I wanted something better.

    Some thoughts:
    * if Ultimate Maintenance Mode is enabled, it should replace the default WordPress “site is in maintenance mode” page
    * there should be an easier way to enable this plugin manually e.g. from the top bar. If I want to update my plugins currently, and display the Maintenance page to my visitors whilst this is happening, I have to go to my Plugins menu, find UMM, click enable, save, then go do my plugin updates, update them, then go back to the Plugins menu, find UMM, click disable, save. It should either be automatic or accessible from a one-button toggle on the Dashboard or the menu.

Thanks for the ideas! I’ll see what I can do to accommodate!
