Support » Plugin: SpeakOut! Email Petitions » Features

  • it will be great if you can add the following features, I’ve customized it on my local version but it is preventing me from updates.
1- filter out all unconfirmed signatures
2- A column to display the confirmation code and ability to confirm the petition as an admin (some users don’t get the emails due to spam filters) s as an admin i should be able to confirm it for them
3- the ability to send a confirmation email to only one signature, (i.e for the filtered searches, i need to be able to select all or individual records and re-send confirmation emails)
4- more custom fields (nice to have)
5- phone number as a field with regex

Thanks for the suggestions: Would you be willing to share your code and I will look at integrating it into a future release.

    1. Would you also want to filter out all confirmed, so you can see only unconfirmed?

    2. This is in the road map along with being able to check individual (or multiple) signatures to delete, confirm, resend confirmation, whatever else I can think of.

    3. Like #2 ;o)

    4. A common request. It is coming when I have time. Being a free plugin it has a fairly low priority in my life.

    5. Can you elaborate on the problem? I can see where getting the regex right will be tricky as there are so many ways different countries format phone numbers, just like postal codes. It is now even difficult to regex verify an email address given the gTLD extensions, you can have + email addresses, . email addresses and who knows what else.

I appreciate your feedback and hope I can make some of these things happen.

Sure I can send you the hacks I did to get these functionalities. can you send me an email and I’ll share that.
By the way the last update broke reCaptcha. there was a missing code emailpetition.php file for version 2 recaptcha.

for the regex- keep it open so i can add my own regex if needed
