 * I’ve seen these feature requests several times in the forum but I haven’t seen
   any particular implementation time frame. Both are important and would make an
   already very good plugin great.
    - Recipient shortcodes available for the template. For example, we want to be
      able to access the recipient information in the email such as name, userid,
      role, custom user fields… It would also be great to have the ability to include
      an unsubscribe link which would unsubscribe the user from this particular 
      BNFW Notification.
    - User subscribe/unsubscribe capability on a per BNFW Notification basis. Additionally,
      this implies at least one new BNFW setting; Default users to subscribe | unsubscribe
      when creating a new BNFW Notification.

 * Both are on the roadmap. The subscribe / unsubscribe part will be an add-on.
   
   You’ll be pleased to know that the recipient shortcodes should be coming in either
   the next major update or the update after next so just a few months away.
