featured topic, showing twice on frontpage | WordPress.org

Hi.

I am hoping somebody is able to help mere, with a issue I have on my page njsk.dk

As you can see, the first featured article is showing twice, both as a big link, and then just below.
Can somebody help me with why that is, and how to stop that from happening.

I would like it only to show the large article, and then disable the smaller one at first.

Hi,

Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Main Body Design -> Post Lists Design and Content
Find the option -> Display the featured posts also in the list of posts
uncheck the checkbox.

Also make sure that your post is not a sticky post.

Thank you for the reply.

I have checked my settings, the ” Display the featured posts also in the list of posts” is already unchecked, tried checking and then uncheck again.

Also the post is not sticky, so I am a little lost on what to do then, and how to stop this from happening.

Hi,

In that case, you will have to check whether it’s a cache issue or plugin conflict.
