 * How do I get the featured slider to resize height to 500px, instead of the default
   750px?

 * Yes thank you for the response. I think I may have it. Using the ‘!important’declaration.
   Here is what I went with. Pls let me know if there was a better way.
 * .flex-viewport img{
    max-height: 500px !important; }
