# Featured Recent Post?

 * I have been searching for a plugin to do this. Or even a group of plugins to 
   get this effect.

    I would
   like to have a featured post from the most recent posts. Currently I’m using 
   Random Featured Post which takes a random post from a category. I have looked
   at several others that you have to manually input the posts and they output as
   lists.
 * I’m not great at coding or else I’d try to edit the plugin I’m currently using.
   The only other thought I had was to have a plugin to create a category of the
   last X amount of posts.
 * Ideas?
