Featured product slider on homepage?? how? – Virtue Theme

    I am creating a website with the Virtue Theme.. 🙂
    On the Home Page there is a slider called Featured Projects. This shows pictures from my Portfolio.
    But, my website is a webshop and I would like to have a slider with Featured products on the homepage that links to my shop.

    Can someone please help?? 🙂 Is there an easy way to do this? I already installed the Woocommerce Product Slider plug-in but I can’t seem to get this slider on my home page. When I paste the code on the “Sample Page” (which is my home page) noathing appears. But when I paste this code in an empty “Test Page” I made, it does appear!

    The premium theme has a built in option for a home feature product slider.

    Where are you adding this shortcode? I tried adding it to the text editor on my site, and it’s also not displaying. You may want to contact the plugin developer to see if they have any tips.

    Or, it seems there is an option to add the slider to your theme template, but that would be quite involved if you’re not an experienced wordpress user. Here is info regarding child themes:

    Hey,
    In your appearance > theme options > home layout did you enabled the “page content” section? That would pull in the page content for the static page you have set as the front page. And they would be how you can add a shortcode.
